UPDATED HAAD (DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH) LICENSING PROCESS:

As I discussed in my YouTube live session related to updated HAAD Registration process, I will mention here through this blog. If you have any correction please comment it.    Department of Health -Abu Dhabi is the regulative body of the Healthcare Sector in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and ensures excellence in Healthcare for the community by monitoring the health status of the population. To practice in Abu Dhabi all health care professional require a valid health care license under DOH(department of Health)

A HAAD license is valid for 5 years from the date of passing the HAAD exam. The medical license must be current and valid during a health professional’s practice. Additionally, it must also be renewed 3 months before the expiry date. Medical professionals are also required to get a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their hospital management for the license.

HOW TO ACCESS AND REGISTER FOR DOH SERVICES:

STEP 1: PROVIDE YOUR DETAILS:

  • Try to use internet explorer for better results
  • sign up with username and password .If you already have login details which is  send to your mail login with that.

STEP 2: FILL USER DATA SECTION:

  • fill your details in user form such as name, mail id, nationality, contact number, passport details,mail id etc

STEP 3: ENTER USER DETAILS DEPENDING ON THE USER TYPE:

  • You have to select your category like DOH licensed or Without DOH license and your profession also.

STEP 4: FILL SUBSCRIPTION SECTION:

  • Fill your choice of user name and password

STEP 5: SELECT E SERVICES FOR THE USER

  • Select the require services and provide necessary attachments with justification.

After successful submit the request . User will get email notification.

Data flow verification Process and further steps in Licensing:

1. Apply for "Primary Source verification" and submit the required documents through the available channels. Now for data flow you have to create a pin number (Same like unique ID in DHA). For getting pin number you have to register in HAAD first.After getting Pin number start data flow process. Changes are there in data flow page also. After completion of Data flow verification, check for the status of your application in HAAD site.
 
2. Receive notification of the application status through electronic email being sent to the applicant's email.
 
3. Update the application and documents (if required) and submit for "Credentialing Processes". Please make sure that you have uploaded all the requested documents to avoid rejection.
 
4. Receive notification of approval or rejection and further steps. You can check the status of application.
 
5. Fulfill further steps depends of the Credentialing decision (take the assessment if needed + send applicant documents to CID step) some professions oral assessment and some professionals its CBT assessment.
 
6. Upload Malpractice Insurance by your employer.
 
7. Pay the applicable fees for license .
 
8. Receive email notification
 
9.Receive electronic licence through website
