DHA Licensing Process (Dubai) – Complete 2026 Guide

Who needs a DHA license?

A DHA license is required to work legally in Dubai under a DHA-licensed facility. DHA applications are managed through the DHA Sheryan portal. 

Step-by-step DHA license process

 1: Check eligibility (PQR / assessment)

Before you pay for exams or verification, confirm your eligibility in Sheryan using DHA tools like self-assessment and eligibility review services.

2: Prepare documents (basic checklist)

Keep clear PDF scans:

• Passport + photo

• Educational certificates + transcripts

• Registration/license (home country)

• Experience certificates (with dates, designation)

• Good Standing Certificate (if applicable)

• CV + any name change proof

3: DataFlow PSV (Primary Source Verification)

DHA uses DataFlow for credential verification (PSV). DataFlow Group
Submit the correct set of documents and ensure names/dates match everywhere.

4: Book DHA exam (Prometric)

You’ll book the DHA exam through Prometric for your profession/specialty. Prometric

5: Result + next step

After passing, continue the Sheryan process until you receive your professional status/eligibility to activate.

 6: License activation (via employer)

In most cases, final activation is done when a DHA facility (employer) links your profile and activates your license in the system.
