nclex-rn

USA is a beautiful place in which most of the nurses dreaming to work. In USA there are 50 states having 50 nursing boards. National Council of State Boards of Nursing(NCSBN) is an independent organization which regulated all nursing regulatory bodies and counsel together. Each state has its regulatory bodies who decides what is the application process. So the application journey will differ with each nursing board in US.  I personally heard the application process to Illinois board of nursing is much easier comparing to other boards. Don't worry ,after reaching US you can change the nursing license from one board to another board. Any time can restart taking nurse in large amount and there is more shortage of nurses in US. So prepare yourself .

Any nursing graduate will be able to write exam either diploma or degree. Diploma nurses can take or not decided by regulatory authorities after checking transcript for theory and practical hours will be calculated. And now after reaching US, there is contract is signing by diploma nurses that they should take Bachelor with 5 years and  they will give opportunities for studying.

Age is not a factor to become an RN in USA if you have a strong grit and determination. Better to have 2 year bedside experience latest.

As their was visa retrogression (Visa retrogression generally occurs when the annual limit for a category or country has been exhausted or is expected to run out soon.)I personally knows so many applications where pending, and some agencies got closed and now applicants are starting process again.

Priority date details are mentioned down when you move through each application process.

What is green card-it is permanent resident card allows you to live and work permanently in the US.
