About the Role
Support dentists during clinical procedures and ensure safe, efficient, patient-centred care across the clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance for procedures and minor surgeries
- Instrument processing: sterilization, tray set-ups, and infection-control compliance
- Dental radiography (if qualified): taking and developing X-rays
- Accurate documentation: update treatment notes and maintain patient records
- Patient education: oral hygiene and post-treatment instructions
- Patient preparation and comfort monitoring throughout visits
- Cross-functional support at the front desk as needed
- Stock control: monitor supplies and dental materials, coordinate replenishment
- Adhere to clinic policies, health & safety, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- DHA license or DHA eligibility (mandatory)
- Certificate/Diploma in Dental Nursing / Dental Assisting / Dental Hygiene
- UAE dental clinic experience (minimum 1 year preferred)
- Strong organizational & interpersonal skills; team-oriented attitude
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
- Knowledge of dental software systems is an advantage
